Sostanza Pen is a technical and romantic ballpoint pen.

Its two elements have complementary shapes and wrap around each other in a kind of embrace. When the two profiles match, the refill’s tip pops out. The reverse happens when they move apart. This unusual mechanism is also the aesthetic focus of the object: instead of being hidden inside, it is highlighted and beautified by the double surface finish.
