Pininfarina Transition is the new additive manufacturing collection by Pininfarina Segno, a project to which we contributed as consultants.

Designed using the Grasshopper software, the object shows a complex yet lightweight geometry that not only enhances visual dynamism but also contributes to structural efficiency, keeping the weight of the pen to just 18g. 3D printing also allows precise adjustments to production numbers, aligning the project with an ecological and responsible approach.

A distinctive feature of Speedform is the Ethergraf® technology, a patented metallic alloy that provides smooth, long-lasting writing without the need for refills. This system, which echoes the traditional silver tip, eliminates the issues associated with conventional refill systems, offering greater design freedom for the writing instrument.
